Landscape photography courses at The Digital Dawn

The ethos behind The Digital Dawn is simple: We offer in-depth tuition mixed with enthusiasm and inspiration so you can really develop as a photographer. We teach you new skills about how to capture the moment out on location and create landscape images that are unique to you. Our groups are never more than five photographers so you receive a high-level of one-to-one tuition and we offer courses in Britain's most beautiful and dramatic locations. It's a combination that attracted 130 photographers in 2007, beginners and experts alike, with many returning for their third and fourth course.

	This course is designed to teach you the entire photographic process from the creative enjoyment of finding and making the image out on location, to learning all the technical aspects of using your digital SLR camera to its full potential. The final section explains how to set up your computer and monitor, then teaches you how to use the Photoshop imaging software to produce a professional-standard print to take home. Maximum five photographers per course.

These advanced-level courses take you to some of Britain's most beautiful and dramatic locations. They concentrate solely on the creative and compositional aspects of landscape photography, with the emphasis of the tuition being to separate the seeing and making of an image from the technical side of taking a photograph. The vast majority of time is spent out on location with the opportunity to slow the image-making process down and explore each location's potential to the full. 	These residential weekend workshops offer the opportunity to learn about digital landscape photography while making images at some of the country's finest waterfalls. It is an intensive three days designed for photographers who are keen to develop their eye for landscapes and also want to learn how to use their digital SLR camera to its full potential away from the automatic settings. They provide a full day of practical classroom and location-based tuition on both the technical and creative aspects of using a digital SLR camera for landscape photography. They are ideal for those keen to develop an eye for landscapes and want to learn how to resist relying on their camera's automatic settings. Maximum five photographers per workshop.
