WHO IS THE WORKSHOP DESIGNED FOR?
This workshop is designed for digital landscape photographers who want to develop an understanding for how digital printing can be enjoyed as a rewarding craft rather than purely a time-consuming mix of science and technology. The subjects covered will appeal to photographers who wish to create an exhibition-standard colour print that is faithful to how they visualised the scene when out on location, but want to avoid a steep learning curve and long periods sat at the computer.
While explaining why a calibrated monitor is crucial, tutor Garry Brannigan then goes on to demonstrate a workflow using Adobe Photoshop CS4 that will help photographers to eventually create a successful print that does more than simply match what they see on the screen. Each photographer on the workshop will also receive step-by-step course notes that will be a helpful reference later.
This classroom-based workshop will also be beneficial to photographers who use Photoshop Elements and are considering a switch to the full version of Photoshop. Please note that tuition does not cover Adobe Lightroom, black and white printing or HDR photography.
