2008 Yorkshire Dales workshop

We have just one remaining landscape photography course with a place available for 2008. Our popular three-day Weekend Introduction to Digital landscape Photography Workshop is designed to teach you the entire photographic process from the creative enjoyment of making the image out on location, to learning all the essential technical aspects of using your digital SLR camera to its full potential. The final section explains how to set up and colour manage your computer and monitor, then demonstrates how to use Photoshop to convert your RAW images and produce a professional-standard print. The remaining 2008 course with a place available is November 28th - 30th in the Yorkshire Dales, where Belgium photographer Guy Heyligen captured the excellent image above of the Swaledale's Wain Wath Force in July. Website updated with 2009 dates
and discounts for early booking

The Digital Dawn's landscape photography courses in the Yorkshire Dales, Northumberland, Lake District, Isle of Skye and Scotland are now virtually full for 2008. With a maximum of just five photographers per course, you receive one-to-one tuition out on location at a level that is right for you. They are based at hotels and guest houses that offer a high standard of food and comfort with no shared rooms and no single supplement. The website now has the dates for all our courses in 2009 and we are offering discounts of up to £75 if you are able to book before Christmas. Winner announced for Image of the Year

More than 130 photographers joined the Digital Dawn out on location in 2007 for our landscape photography courses in the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Northumberland, Scotland and the Isle of Skye. We have created a special gallery with the best of their work and have announced the winner of our Image of the Year competition and the photographer who has won a £500 voucher towards a course in 2008.
