Anyone who has experienced the Scottish Highlands in winter will know how reluctant they are to reveal their riches. But when the elements finally work in your favour and you witness the alignment of light, colour, shape and perhaps even beauty, the reward is worth all those days spent fighting the wind and rain and numb fingers! Digital Dawn course leader Garry Brannigan, who runs his popular landscape photography courses in Scotland, Isle of Skye, Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and Northumberland, has updated the Latest Images section of the website with four of his most recent images made in the Highlands in March 2008, including the one above from Glen Brittle on the Isle of Skye. The Latest Images page also has an extensive set from our most recent 2008 courses in the North West Highlands and Northumberland.

Now booking for Autumn 2008

The Digital Dawn's landscape photography courses in the Yorkshire Dales, Northumberland, Lake District, Isle of Skye and Scotland are now full for Spring and Summer. But we do have a few places left for our Autumn photography courses in the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. With a maximum of just five photographers per course, you receive one-to-one tuition out on location at a level that is right for you.

Winner announced for Image of the Year 2007

More than 130 photographers joined the Digital Dawn out on location in 2007 for our landscape photography courses in the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Northumberland, Scotland and the Isle of Skye. We have created a special gallery with the best of their work and have announced the winner of our Image of the Year competition and the photographer who has won a £500 voucher towards a course in 2008.
